    :mad::mad::mad:

We usually get Advantage Strong hold spot on flea treatment from our Vet.
Fourp was sold Broadline as 'they are moving away from pipettes'

This comes in a syringe type applicator.

Read the instructions that state pull plunger back before you take off cap.

Then plunge contents onto cats neck

Damn thing made a noise - cat reacted & £8 worth of Broadline was now treating the furniture.
Tried next cat - same thing happened :(:(:(

Went back to instructions - followed them - but this time I gently pushed plunger back up to remove the air pocket at top of syringe.
Thus removing the 'noise' when applying.

Cat 3 is now done with ease

So I've typed a stroppy email to manufacturers because I can't afford to waste £16 because of incomplete instructions :mad::mad:

So be warned - anyone else who gets this new flea treatment please :D

  • can anyone find a glitch worth trying with the tassimo pods?

I mentioned the other day that i had seen these in store on 3 for £10, well, i saw them again last night and again today, they are deffo on 3 for £10 in my Sada,( i dont suspect it is old SEL as the shelves were ransacked,) but no signs on .com nor msm.

they are cheaper in Morribobs and on 4 for 3 in Sainbugs, but cannot get my head round the best option.

I tried it on the main computer but its IE11 and all I got was a blank square inside the picture frame.
So I tried via the ipad which is safari and it said I had already entered :(
but it did let me enter and loose using another email address :D

Well they've reinstated my previous two posts! :D:rotfl: Was it my comment about them not valuing the opinion of those who had already 'liked' my post either I wonder?

The fact that your DDs are on iPhones is an advantage. You can text them for free and check whether they have read your messages. You can even see when they're typing a message back.

How many minutes/texts and how much data would you use approximately per month?

I want to stay with O2 have been payg for years, I top up £15 month and get 150 mins evening/weekend calls. Then use my top up to buy a 100 messaging bolt on and a O2 numbers one, top 10 o2 numbers 1000 mins/texts. This has suited me for years as I am left with a bit of credit for the odd daytime call. But of course no data and I don't have a clue how much I will use.

I really don't want to go contract as I don't want any surprise bills as knowing me I might press a few wrong settings and be on the internet when I shouldn't be. :o

O2 does not have a huge amount of choice at the moment either a big bundle which they take your credit for or a big talker which you keep your credit and can buy bolt ons.

I do finally want to be able to get my priority moments so that is another reason why I want to stay. ;)

    Hi Everyone :)

Got this for my nephew's birthday:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-To-Drive-Ultimate-Guide/dp/1447272838/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Thought it might make a great stocking filler for someone.

Sada have it at £9 so was able to use up a too-big-for-me-APG!

SA commented on how big it was so I waffled on about how surprised I was to get it as they are usually for about 12p and not worth printing :rotfl:

I ordered this last week from Amazoon..DS1 hits 17 over christmas so its a great stocking filler/birthday gift to go with the driving lessons.
I managed to use vouchers that I had collected from survey sites over the year and actually having now received the book...I can confirm its quite a good read!!!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

They are not in mb on a.com so best result would be to do c&c or hd.
They would then hopefully compare £4.98 v £3.99 against M but the actual outlay would have been £10

Can't do the maths as useless at it.

both of these are prescription only treatments - have you tried all of the non prescription versions from medicanimal?

we have 3 cat, all short haired and all have been relatively flea free this year but we use a comb like a nit comb to groom them and it shifts any little invaders before they take hold.

most of our flea problems were when we had a long haired cat
