EE Contract Problems

Hi just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to get out of an EE contract without paying the £125 early leaving fee.
I took out the contract for home broadband end of August this year and have had no end of problems since. I have basically not had working internet (it's slower than dial up) since the get go.
I have phoned them so many time to be told the same nonsense, there's a problem with the line, it'll take 24 hrs to fix, we'll call you back (never do), they tell me it's definitely fixed now (of course it's never fixed). I' ve never been told an engineer can come out (which the cancellation department offered me straight away), never been offered a new router. I don't want no engineer or new router, I think 2 months is adequate time for them to resolve this ?! They've had they're chance and now I want out. Surely after everything I've been through they can't expect me to pay the fees ?! I paid my line rental up front too so I'd want that back !
Anybody been through this with EE ? Any help would be appreciated
Thanks x

Advance Line rental is non refundable .
You should write them a letter asking for the contract to be terminated without penalty due to the problems .
But as you don't want an engineer or new router they will probably say no you have not let us fix the problem .0
