LG Shine THREE?

Hello, I have seen these knocking around for an ok price on other networks, payg. If the phone is unlocked is it the same as the Three version.

some people have said there phones are not the same.

What and who will the charge be for this to be unlocked.

i was tempted to by an lg shine but i have read reviews saying they are crap technically, but looks nice and scratches very easy and thatyou cant see teh screen in daylight.

so i opted for nokia 6288 - crap battery but everything else is is good it sounds good too, nav button a bit dodgy, camera is excellent in daylight but crap at night as its grainy, even though it has flash on it.

and i also bought a sony ericson k800i, excellent phone with 7 hour talk time and about 350 standby the sound is tinny but doesn't bother me to be honest as i am not intending to blare out the music, i have read in places that people have a problem with the joystick , i foun it very easy and alot easier to my nokia i didn't even need to read the instructuion leaflet and i found my way round the phone in half the time i did with the nokia one.

sony ericson is very well made doesn't feel like it will break unlike the nokia one which does have a loose feel on the slider part.

also both phones have fm radio on, the reception is better than my surround sound, dunno way maybe has some sort of enhancement feature.

i wouldn't part with either of my phones

lg shine isnt that gud.. and the 3 variant isnt as easy to unlock as the shines on other nets.. as there is 3g version and a normal shine.. i.e ku series and ke series

Thank you both for the info, was looking at getting a decent phone on three, for WEB use.... so screen size and speed is important.

dont mind paying a little for a phone, and getting it unlocked as I may be able to use a three retention deal.

i have been using the nokia for web use as t-mobile has a JULY offer they give 10 days free internet, free pic messages uk and abroad, 5 free realtones, free wall papers, pics, backgrounds, free demo games, big brother video downloads and some other stuff too all for new customers.

i had a quick look at vodafone, its pics and text quite small really, but i'm sure i will get used to it if i use it again.
