Had a bad few days. Been feeling a bit under the weather with a cold. Combine that with a broken body clock due to working my night rotation and it does not know whats going on.
In better news, I cashed out £40 from Opinion World today. I have been a member since 12/10/14 and I have cashed out a total of £60.
OnePoll £40 still has not arrived and I have not decided on which vouchers from VO to get. I have £24.50 credit for them now.

I power through with earl grey tea!
I forgot to add to my earlier post that I have been making my own soups. Onion + Cauliflower with tumeric (sp?), cumin + paprika went down a treat and cost a tiny amount considering it made about two litres worth.
Combine that with home made bread and its a winter warming winner!Sealed Pot Challenge:

I feel as if my life has been turned upside down due to night shifts.
I slept from 6am-6pm today. Now im wide awake. All the shops are closed thankfully so it will make it a no spend day for me. I will make bread + I have soup left over to keep me alive.
Pay day today, so I have shuffled funds around. All accounts are healthy. I put less fuel in this month so my credit card bill is £30 less than usual, so Il transfer that as extra into my savings.
Still no money from OnePoll. Il probably forget and when it arrives Il be surprised!
Cashed out another £10 from Opinion World today. (But I bought a christmas jumper, so Im going to try and make that money back before Christmas via Opinion World. I put it all into my paypal account. I currently have £129.93 after my jumper purchase. I use it to buy things online and its funded via surveys where possible + a few eBay sales.
Forgot to add that my cheque for refunded car tax arrived!
Summary:
- £34.99 Retro Christmas Jumper
+ £77 Car tax refund. (Hasnt hit my account yet)

Just popping in to say hello and offer you my support! I'm a nurse and although trained a while ago I survived on a bursary with bank and agency work and I had a house and 2 kids to support! So if you are determined it can be done (Not been out of debt since though! so maybe my advice is not worth much!!!)
Just wanted to say good luck - lots of people are down on nursing as a career due to hours, pay, pressure etc however I can't think of anything else I would rather do! (it could of course be that I'm not very good at anything else!)0 -

Hi Judi,
Thank you for your input! Luckily my employer will contribute and offer me 4/5 12 hour shifts a month, so financially it should be doable.
I live alone, and have no children to support so I should be alright. I could always downgrade my car if things got really tight.
I currently work in the support side of things and I feel that I would be much more useful to the patients as a nurse so thats the route I am going to take!Sealed Pot Challenge:

General update:
Still working nights. I managed to swing an overtime shift, which is lucky. When you see my outgoings summary you will realise why.
Opinion World currently stands at £13. Will cash out when that hits a more chunky amount.
Summary:
+£50 Teaching
-£41.50 Parking Fine..sigh
-£34 Sunday lunch for two

For those who the last spend entry is a mystery. The website Reddit sets up a christmas gift exchange where users are matched internationally to others to send a random gift based on their interests. It has a $20 limit so about £12.Sealed Pot Challenge:

Had a really upbeat day today! So let me tell you about it!
Firstly I went out to my dental appointment at 09:55 to be told he is in the Middle East over Christmas and they sent the letter saying so to an address I havent lived at for two years. Brilliant start.
I then went into HMV as my aunt had gifted me a voucher and no one had an idea on an amount. So I asked the HMV worker bee and he tells me its worth £50! Fantastic news. So come january sales time il be in there!
Then I came back home to find zero parking spaces, so I went for lunch instead. It was one of those cheap carvery places you buy a ticket for £5 and eat as much vegetables as you like. But the couple sitting behind me gave me a free ticket as one of their party had not arrived and they would not take any money for it. So gratefully I had a free lunch!
I live next door to a shop that always takes in my parcels when I am at work, so I nipped in a local independent florist and had them a bouquet made each as a thank you.
Now I am back at home feeling like I have done a million things and it isnt even four PM!
Summary:
-£30 Florists
-£37 Petrol
-£4.32 Groceries

Been at work on the festive rota, (mine currently means I am in one day off the next) I dont mind it.
I ended up not cashing out the £17 for Opinion World in the above post so now it is up to £25.25. Weirdly the last two cash outs have been on the 4th of the month, so Im going to continue that trend and cash into paypal whatever I have on the 4th rounded to the nearest pound. So far I have had:
£20 for November 4th
£40 for December 4th
£? for January 4th - Il update in the new year.
I also keep looking at Lego Technics build kits, I fear that will be a slippery slope into not saving any money at all!
Summary:
+£30 Teaching
-£23 Car parts. (Headlamp bulb and roof catch)Sealed Pot Challenge:
