OP, what are you willing or able to spend, and which make/model of TV do you have?

My husband has reduced hearing and I found I could not make out what was being said on TV, especially with films. We bought a sound bar and think it's the best thing out. It has made things crisper and clearer with no need to have the tv on louder.

I got my Father a speaker that is closer to him so that he doesn't need the volume turned up too high.
That and plenty of other options HERE....(Action on Hearing Loss shop)

That model doesn't appear to have ANY audio output apart from the SCART.

If you routinely watch from your 'own' chair or location, you could

Get a SCART to twin phono adaptor.
Run a twin phono lead to your location around the side of the room
Get a headphone amp and pair of headphones.

It's not wireless, but it will work.....

Any solution will involve a SCART adaptor to get the audio out at a fixed level to feed to a headphone amplifier.

You should have mention this ten days ago.

Both Aldi and Lidl were selling wireless head phones made for what you are looking for.

Bought the Aldi ones for the D W. And they are perfect.

(She can have whatever volume she wants and I can listen comfortably.)
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Dare I say it, but I bought the aldi one's and there were loads of cables and the though of trying to sort that lot out put me off, plus I needed two power outlets, one for modem thing and one for something else, then I read something about it would cut off all other sound if not connected correctly and that also put me off also, then didn't read anymore and took it back.

If you could not work the ones Aldi had, I would give up now!
