  • I enter the ones to win food for horses and general bits because there is a stable near where they have riding for the disabled and if would would donate it. I think it is up to the winner what they do with the prize anyway.

Who cares what anyone thinks, I have a comping friend who gets any horsey wins of me!

I enter anything that takes my fancy (not everything as I don't have the patience or time for that!)to keep or sell or donate for my fave charity.

I have a very happy little homelife where I can pay some of the bills through wins so hubby doesn't have to pay everything. My way of contributing!

I gift loads of my wins to people close to me and that makes me happy, I also do several charity auctions a month for my fave dog rescue and I feel that balances out my karma in my own head!

Ignore the moaners, Just jealousy, some people seem to think they will win every comp they enter which is absurd.

Hope you win loads more horsey stuff and really annoy her some more! :)

    I don't have a horse but I post them & enter them.I'm just greedy.

Mind you it is only for the clothing etc & never for the strange rubs & potions that often get posted. That would be taking greed a bit too far.

    Just ignore the haters :-)

I tend to enter for stuff I have a use for one way or another but there are certain types of comps I avoid which fall into the "wish granting" catagory- usually hard to get tickets, meet and greets with celebs and holidays to places I don't have any real desire to visit or revisit .

I don't believe the comping fairy likes people who stomp on dreams just to get a win for the sake of a win and I prefer to stay in her good books :)

Don't have a dog anymore, (Sadly,) but donate to local shelter.

Own kids grown & flown, but have grandchildren and pregnant friends.

Don't need a new TV, sofa or fridge, but know someone who does.

Not a Kylie fan, but entered for a friend, (After checking it was OK to transfer tickets.)

    Am making two points here...
    1) I think I sometimes get more pleasure from winning things for those I care about. Why should I have to justify that?
    2) It's no-one else's business what I do with my wins or what competitions I enter. It wouldn't be considered appropriate for anyone to dictate what I spend my salary on, so why do some feel their opinion is relevant?
Worse things will have happened in the world today...

  • Thanks for all your replies.

The cost of the prize was £32.00 ,so if that women has 3 expensive ponies then £32 would not be anything to them.
But I am really Happy to win as I have just had a vet bill for £1,800 because my horse cut her leg (would love a ITV win to sort that out ,But then wouldn't we all love to win the ITV ones LOL)

I only ever enter comps for stuff I would like/need and also for my very close family members, When I don`t win I am like no problem and I am happy for the person who did win and hope they are just as excited as I would be if I had found out I was the winner.

Thank you for the links for horse related Comps.
Happy comping to all of you and hope you all have some great wins in the coming weeks
