Morning all,
Raining here so washing will have to go on he airer, still no heating on so its not easy drying it all.
Waiting for OH to come back then I think we need to take little dog to the vet, she has been being sick since yesterday lunchtime and is very lethargic and not herself, this is all complicated by her being diabetic, so best to get her checked, I worry about her so much. Im going to get a chicken later and roast it to see if I can tempt her to eat, she has had a tiny bit of scrambled egg this morning but wont even have her favourite piece of cheese
Going to have a quiet day at home, although I will need to nip to the local cheap shop for some clothes washing liquid, they do a big bottle of persil for £3.
Have good days all.
Hugs for Molly xx0 -
Morning all,
Red Ruby, hope your little dog picks up very soon.
Hugs to all of you who are struggling.
I am afraid that my OS ways have deserted me:eek: had to use the tumble dryer as I didn't fancy having washing on the airers during viewings. Also, realised that we have ran out of bread, so I will be putting the bread maker on this afternoon.
Woke up with a stiff neck, and have also been very bad and had sugar with my cereal, sugar in my coffee and two funsize chocolate bars, and this is with me being diabetic.
I must eat better, has to be my new mantra.
Plans for today are to give the house a quick going over, then will probably pop over and see m-i-l.
Take care all.

Good morning from a very sunny and warm South Yorkshire. lovely blue skies here. Today I am hoping to do not a lot

I am going to try and get the bread maker out from the back of the cupboard - I have not used it properly in years. I did try it out again a couple of years ago,but the cat doesn't like the sound of it. Will give it a whirl again. might also start a cross stitch that I bought in Wales last week - this is new ground for me, so could be interesting.
Vietual hugs for all those that could do with one today.
happy Saturday

Lovely here today so washing is on the line.
We are going to take some bits down to the hospice shop today, so that will be more of my hall cleared.
DD has just gone for her driving lesson, then when she gets back we are going to Bletchley because DD needs a skirt for a halloween party tonight, if she had told me earlier i could have made her one.
I like Bletchley though and want a mooch around TK Maxx, Sports Direct and the big Primark by stadium MK and if we have time Ikeaas well.

Afternoon, lovely day here, sunny but a decent breeze to dry the laundry.Forecast was carp for Monday so decided to do the bedding and jim jams this morning, merrily dancing on the whirly.
OH put in another 50 daff bulbs this morning, so we should have a dcent show in the sroing. Thats if we ever get winter!!
DGD has invited us for a celebration....she was 21 on Wednesday, they were in London for the week, so she phoned and asked if we would go this evening. Liver I was going to cook is back in the freezer, good job I had only just taken it out,0 -
Afternoon all
Lovely and sunny here with a breeze, perfect for the mounds of washing I have. DH and I did a 400 mile 10 hour journey yesterday to pick up the DDs from their uni placements . Along with the DDs came 2 huge bags of washing . I don't mind doing it actually when I can get it out on the line . There is nothing nicer than the smell of line dried washing
Been food shopping with dd2 today she's doing really well with her food budgeting it's lovely to see her settled and doing so well at uni after a very unsettled start .
Dd1 has gone to York for the weekend with her bf
Molly I hope, you soon feel brighter xx
Redruby hope little dog is soon back to herself xx
Off to tidy the kitchen
Have a lovely afternoon peeps xx0 -
Here you go:Good morning everyone. Have got Elton John's song 'Saturday, saturday' stuck in my mind, even though I only know those two words!

Molly (((HUG))) It's just an off-day, sweetie; tomorrow will be better. Cuddle a Westie or two, you know it always helps.;)
Redruby healing vibes for Little Dog; hope the vet can get her sorted out, poor little lass.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Pleased with myself today..it's a NSD and I have thoroughly cleaned downstairs. Upstairs is a mess!!
I have put together some items for eb4y including clothes and toys.
Hopefully they will sell well.
I was annoyed with myself last week..posted abroad and the buyer said they didn't receive the item. I couldn't find my proof of postage as was over a month old. Refunded after umpteen emails from her and not even a thank you or acknowledgement.
Having a coffee now and then going to make a start on my room..loads of paperwork to sift through. Just gets put in a to do pile and left.
Will use up scouse I made yesterday for when we came back from trick and treating.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Good Afternoon everyone, back from my travels last evening and had a frantic time carving the pumpkin and making 4 dozen chocolate buns which were iced orange and had a gummy monster stuck on top. We had so many trick or treaters I lost count but it was lovely as so many of them had homemade costumes and littlies came with mums or dads in costume too. I put tealights in jamjars all down both sides of the drive, hung solar lanterns in the apple tree along with a 'ghostie' made from a single sheet, newspaper and a carrier bag (very effective) and candle lanterns by the porch so they can see their way. Great fun and the cakes were it seems what they all wanted as they disappeared fast and I'm left with kitkats and penguin biscuits which I thought would go first. I guess not many people bake these days so homemade cakes are a novelty. Great fun had by all, not just the small ones either!!!
We've been tree pruning this afternoon and reshaped the big old apple tree on the front lawn along with giving the silver birch a real haircut, looks much better and more light coming into the study which is at the front of the house. This has generated us lots of brush but also some decent branches we'll be able to use on the woodstove. I'm looking forward to it cooling down next week so we can light up, it's been glorious here today but it just doesn't feel right being this warm on November the 1st does it?0 -
Evening all,
Took DS2 to work and did the Aldi shop as usual. We had thought about going to the caravan this afternoon but the weather is supposed to be very wet tomorrow and Monday, so decided against it. It's also our local fireworks tonight and the ones local to where the caravan is next weekend.
Took a trip to a local independent furniture which also has an Outlet shop nearby. Was very pleased to be able to order a new mattress for out bed, which should be delivered in about three weeks.
Met DS2's girlfriend for the first time today and she seems a lovely girl
Just wish DS2 wasn't so moody all the time.
Have a good evening whatever you are doing.0
