Chrome lessens the chance of infection by being updated more regularly but they all have similar vulnerability.
My earlier suggestion in this thread of using a freeware program like Sandboxie, see https://www.sandboxie.com is probably the most secure way of browsing for the most paranoid of users.0 -

Yes -- Mozilla Firefox is pretty good. Particularly since you can install add-ons like AdBlock Plus (and subscribe to the Malware blocklist), NoScript, Disconnect, DoNotTrackMe, etc.
With the relevant add-ons, I reckon Firefox would be more secure than Chrome... and I'm not sure I trust Google's browser to resist the urge to snoop on my web browsing... Their whole business model involves monitoring web users and selling information gathered about them.
