  • Do your chances of winning increase per bond as you invest more? In other words, if you have £30,000 invested, are you likely to win twice as much, on average, as if you have £15,000, or more than twice as much?

    Thanks,
    Laurence

I've noticed that the winning cheques are taking longer and longer to arrive. I'm still waiting for my October winnings on 20th October.

Agree they are taking longer to arrive, also don't see many of the £50 prizes.
This month I got 3 x £25, 2 arrived by 13th Oct, I'm still waiting for the 3rd one to arrive.

I invest £100 per month by Standing order, and so far this year have won 3 x £25, holding is 1275 now.
If you can tell me where I can improve on that, please share... This is tax free, and I am a 40% tax payer!

The returns arnt WOW factor, but I look forward to the beginning of each month as I may have a lovely surprise.

Unfortunately have had to spend my ISA's that I built up as deposit for house, including rennovation work, but in being premium bonds I dont consider them so Liquid, so not so much pressure to spend!

OMG, just had a look at this months winners on the Nsandi website, a £1 bond bought in Nov 1957 won a grand! The winner only has a total holding of £3 as well!
