Well that's a bit strange....... Number is working now. Probably a line fault. thanks again.

My wife is a "shared borrower" with two deferred loans sold to Thesis and one sold to Erudio, which means deferment applications are still handled by SLC.

In late Feb she received an SLC deferment pack as usual, referring to all 3 loans, and sent the application by return of post. Last week she received a letter from SLC confirming renewed deferment for the two Thesis accounts, but making no reference at all to the Erudio account! Waited a few days in case there was a separate letter about the other one, but still nothing.

Anyone in the same position, or know what is going on? It seems to be impossible to contact SLC about shared borrower deferment - the letters don't give a phone number and the SLC website denies all responsibility for mortgage-style loans - and she'd much rather not have to start talking direct to Erudio.

how is that Erudio are allowed to include Tax Credits and more particularly the Childcare Element of Tax Credits in their calculations, as this is double accounting! The Childcare Element is paid as a result of the level of childcare a parent pays in order to be able to work.... so surely in order for Erudio to consider this as income they must also include the childcare costs in their equation... but they don't..., so the way I see it this is double accounting, considering this element of income TWICE when in reality the Tax Credits are a partial repayment of childcare costs....
