I wrote a few weeks ago to Norwegian Air Shuttle after a 6 hour delay on a flight from Gatwick to Barcelona.
It occurs to me that they can simply say that they never received my letter. As they are based in Norway and have no UK office (for customer service) this makes things a little difficult.
Is no receipt a common push back from airlines?

Very much so and apparently, the usual action by Norwegian is no action. Lawyers have begun a group legal action in Sweden due to their refusal to pay compensation to many customers who live there, some of whom had delays of over 40 hours. Try to find an email address as sending letters to Norway won't be cheap. the strange thing with Norwegian is when they are good they are great but when things fall apart it seems to be a complete nightmare0
