  • I first asked about changing the location.

They said I could fly to Barcelona or Amsterdam on those dates but at an extra cost of around £170.

I then asked about cancelling. I was told the deal was non refundable and that rearranging dates would come at an extra cost

    groupon refunded

And they didn't even have a genuine grievance. They moaned that the flights weren't at good times (the page basically said they could be at any time) and that transfers weren't included (the page said they weren't included).

The OP here has a much better case than they did so I wouldn't worry too much about it!
  • Groupon have agreed to refund me the £278.

However, I am still wanting to chase the £66 that I was incorrectly charged by clear sky holidays.

Is it still best to pursue this through reporting them to the ASA and ABTA if they do not agree to this?

I would give them 14 days to refund and then complain to ABTA with a copy of your letter to the ASA. Interestingly I saw an advert for employees for Jetline this afternoon, 'work for us and enjoy unlimited commission' was the offer, and you can see why!
