If I'm posting to another address in my town then I always use a 2nd class stamp, as it will nearly always arrives the next morning anyway.
Whist we're on the subject of post...
Although its good customer service, I do think that its very inefficient that Royal Mail deliver to every uk address every day. I would be happy having my mail delivered just once a week, and then if I wanted to collect it any sooner maybe I could collect it from the local post office?
With loads more local post offices due to close in the next year, I think it's important to find a good use for them: so turn them into collection offices.0 -
I wouldn't care less, there is a war on you know!0

i rarely post anything, usually if you get a card from me its on your birthday night out and i am buying you a drink at the same time, either that or its through your letterbox
although i always used to send credit card payments 1st class- purely because i used to buy stamps in 6's from the supermarket and 2nd class were only in 12'sthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok

Can you be a second class friend?
Are you snobby about what stamp you get? Is second class more literal than economic? If someone posted you a birthday card with a second class stamp on it, Which of the following would be your view?
A. They’re cheap. The symbolism of first class is important. 6% (299 votes)
B. They’re savvy. Glad to see they value what matters. 39% (1900 votes)
C. Only fine if it arrives in time. If not, it shows they value money over mates. 54% (2622 votes)
Total Votes: 4816

I couldn't care less what stamp is on it or if the mail turns up on time. It's being delivered by Royal Mail so if it makes it through my front door at all I'm relieved
Even if it is a birthday card, so what if it has a second class stamp on it and it arrives late? The person has still taken the time to chose a card, pay for it, write a personal message and post it. The stamp is just a means to get it to me.**********************************************************************
