Very.co.uk changed credit agreement

Hello
Last month I bought a TV on Very.co.uk on a buy now pay later basis.
The transaction went through fine, they called to ask a few security questions and the TV was delivered without a problem.
Yesterday I noticed an email saying that they needed to talk to me urgently. So I checked my account on their website which now has £40 worth of charges on it because I missed a payment for the Take 3 deal (3 monthly installments)
I emailed them asking why and their reply was that the order failed to qualify for buy now pay later so they changed it to take 3.
now my arguments are:
A) They didn't tell me they had changed it to take 3
If it had failed to qualify for buy now pay later why didn't they just cancel the order, or tell me it failed and ask if i would like the take 3 option. Why would they assume I would want the take 3 option??
C) The first summary of the account which shows that it is now under take 3 was produced 3 days after the TV was delivered, so they knew it had failed early and had every chance to tell me and collect the TV
As it stands at the moment, the customer representative (I use the term loosely) has passed on my "concerns" to another department and should get a reply within 3 days
Any advice welcome
Thanks

Invite them to collect the tv and return all monies paid, because you do not want to be part of the 'new' arrangement.0

Thanks for the reply
No I don't want to be involved in the new agreement at all, that's the problem
I either want them to go back to the original buy now pay later or take back the TV and cancel everything including the charges.
But if they say that I must now abide by the new agreement and/or pay the charges, do I have an argument against them? since I didn't agree/want this agreement and they didn't inform me it was happening?
I've read through their terms and conditions and they seem to favour my argument0 -
Tell the to take it back, they can't change a contract. Actually once a contract is agreed it must take place, if not the our party can require recompenceDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

Only if they lose out financially.
If they refund then the OP will not have lost anything (material).
OP, I wouldn't want to deal with a company that treated me like that so send back and move on - evidently they don't care that much about CS.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
It would seem you have a contract, and they're breaking this.
You can demand them to take the TV back, but what does the written contract say? It is this that needs to be used in court if necessary.💙💛 💔0 -

One party simply cannot change the terms of a contract without the agreement of the other party.0
