Connecting a Smart TV

I am in the process of having an extension built and would like a smart TV with freeview to go in there. There is wiring for a plug socket where the TV has to go, but will I need an aerial point as well for the TV to connect, or will the internet connection for the Smart functions be suitable for connection? Hopefully this isn't the stupidest question but I have had a look online and I am havin real trouble finding an answer!

A SMART TV is not so "smart" that it doesn't need to receive a signal through the aerial. If you only connect it to the internet, then you will only receive Catch Up TV services like iPlayer etc, not live broadcasts.0
