It would be really interesting to know the details. Were you heading towards a small claims court claim for £3700? Did you use a solicitor (and did the other party)? Did you get your solicitor's fees back as well?0 -
I did not use a solicitor instead I did a lot of reading regarding misrepresentation and I do believe my persistent perseverance paid off. I put in a claim to the small claims court and then they wanted to talk! They tried to haggle me down to £2000 but I was not having any of it, stood my ground and they knew I meant business and eventually paid me in full. The final laugh was them having to pay the court costs too, only £270 but it's back in my pocket and not theirs.
People told me to give up and move on but I am afraid that kind of behaviour is just not in my nature. I don't do giving up!
