we ate at an Indian near the Hippodrome recently - Maharajah? Very much close to China Town.

There is also Teppenyaki on first floor of shopping centre close to there.

I also like the Indian at bottom of Fleet Street/Corner of Newhall, whose name escapes me but someone will know, and indeed ate recently at the Fleet Street Kitchen/along summer Row, but that feels a bit away from the action although really impressed us (work night out)

I like All Bar One in Brindley Place for Tapas and nice wine etc

Ming Moon Chinese resteraunt is very good if you want a buffet style meal.
  • Cafe Soya near the Arcadian is good for Chinese, and isn't too far a walk from the Radisson.

As others have said there are lots of good Indian's around so depends on your budget really!

I also like Piccolino's in Brindley Place and Purnells Bisto but these are both a bit more pricy :)

    Enjoy!
    Thanks to all that post!

  • Best curry house I've ever eaten in - Bangla Lounge on Harborne's High Street (bit far from Holloway Circus but well worth the travel).

There's also a great pub a few minutes walk away The White Horse - (if you like real ale).

    My perfect night out :rotfl:

Birmingham is a lovely city, so I hope you have a grand trip.
& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin :D

Purnell's Bistro also has a Cocktail Bar called Gingers - their bar food is more reasonably priced so you can still have the experience without the need for deep pockets.
