Well I got my electric with the voucher on my way into work and so have given myself NSD number 14 :j. Hopefully it will last me until Monday which I know is going to be a spend day anyway. I'll do all the train tickets that morning too.

Right must get off and do some work; also need to drag out a thesaurus and look up words for Christmas for the December thread or face chastisement from C word monitor Nargle and her henchmen Hubert and Igor

NSD 9 for me yesterday and given I've budgeted already for football tonight I'm hoping to claim another tomorrow. I'm going to have one final push in a bid to get target of 5 in a row. If I manage then I'll be claiming 13 in total which I think will be pretty good in my first attempt. :j

Now, I'm off to try on this fetching pink and purple sequined mankini for the party.

I wonder if BigMumma has finished creosoting her fence, yet? We need that spray gun - it will take a few days of spraytanning to make everyone the right shade of coppery salmon......I think, if everyone meets at Ennessdee Towers on Thursday evening and strips off and lines up in the back yard, BigMumma can lie back in her deckchair , point the spray gun at us all and get the first coat done. Then, a quick run round the grounds to dry it off, then back to line up for the second coat. Then she can hand the gun to Igor so he can do her spray tan...does that sound like a workable plan?

I'll be in the garden from 7pm tonight & the good news is, StanStan the Can-Do Man has cleared all my holes & stretched them out in a long line so I can blast you all in one go. I shan't need a sprizz mesen as Stan did me last night, to make sure everything's working wossat Stan.. oh.. no.. hadn't forgotten but I'll do it now.. Stan says if he can get the keys early enough tomorrow, he can nip in to trim some bushes--nothing special, no time for fancy designs--but give 'em a quick tidy.. he's so handy, Stan, can turn his energies to all sorts of things...

Before anyone asks, Stan & I are signed up for the quickstep; we've been practising & can do corners, but that hoppitty-skippity bit in the middle had us doing a musical version of a three legged race & wasn't helped when my surgical stockings got snagged on his tool belt (luckily he whipped out his caulk to save any real damage *phew* but it was a close call!) If you would be so kind as to ensure we have no tardiness this evening, cuz Stan & I must have our beauty sleep if we're to perform in public


Me muvva & I were going out yesterday but the weather was very murky & some folk decided to invite themselves for lunch, then it all got abandoned so No 5 came to play instead :T

By planning and budgeting every month

I plan my spends, budget for every aspect of spending outgoings.

It took me a year to get to this point and since then it's been a breeze as its engrained now!

Right-o gang, I know our Strictly-themed party isn't till Saturday but the consignment of spray tan Igor got from StanStan the man is a special end of line job lot that fell off the back of a lorry pretty close to its use-by date. It needs 48 hours to "take" properly, so that is why you are all lined up here in the garden of Ennessdee Towers stripped down to your unmentionables waiting for BigMumma to prime her spray gun. She'll be here soon, and then you will all have to remove everything - yes, Igor, long johns as well :eek:- and get your first coat. Then a brisk run around the grounds and back for your second coat. To avoid the stuff getting on your clothes and sheets StanStan will give you all a coat of sealant followed by a quick buff up with his chamois leather. All clear? Good, now let's have a practice at the group dance till BigMumma gets here.....
