plusnet parental controls on Mac

Hi,
Just signed up to plusnet.

Having signed up and paid, I am a bit concerned about how parental controls work.

Currently on sky broadband which has a very simple user interface for filtering.

Not clear how plusnet works and even less sure their solution works on a mac.

Any clarification from users would be most welcome.

Depending on the package you're on it may be free of cost or it may cost £2 per month.

This looks really bad

1. No parental controls for macs.

2. It seems you have to install software on each device so there is no central ISP parental control. That means iPads Itouch and any other such device has no content filters.

Please tell me my interpretation is wrong! Was looking forward to moving over from Sky but if confirmed might have to rethink.

Why not simply use OpenDNS Family Shield here.
