communal sky problem with twist

Last Wednesday started losing sky channels, all gone by next day except terrestrial channels. Communal dish in flats, problem is 2 management companies squabbling; one official and useless (also under investigation by police for allegedly defrauding flat owners/tenants), other unofficial and set up by residents. I've been paying official company since moving in last June thanks to solicitor, but when I rang them they were useless and gave me number of the unofficial company - cancelled my standing order to them straight away!
Apparently private dishes not allowed, yet nothing has so far been done. Unofficial management said there was a problem 2 weeks ago but I seem to be only one now, they said they'll get the guys back up again but so far zilch. No responses to messages left today either. I'm at the end of my tether and feel like getting my own dish like next door, even though officially not allowed. Don't want to suspend my sky account as I can watch footie and movies online at least, but its not the same.
What are my rights here if nothing is being done (so far) to address the problem?
