Hi all,
My OH will be looking to buy the iphone6 in the next 3 or 4 months when his existing contract runs out. He currently has an iphone5, which will be 2 years old in January next year, locked to Orange.
I've bought and sold used phones on ebay before, but not an iphone. Is there a better way of selling a fully working good-condition iphone5?
Where should I be looking?
Thanks,

Define 'better'.
At ebay you are likely to get the highest price, but there are many scammers around, so you have to be extremely cautious.0 -
Also request for it to be unlocked by orange - this will increase the resell value.0

Use avforums....less likely to get scammed than eBay and it's free!

Second vote for AV Forums. I've bought and sold on there many times. You may get slightly less for it, but don't have to pay any fee's.
There are still some scammers around, so have a good read of the trading rules.0 -
I sold my iPhone 5s on Gumtree in September, it took less than a week and I got just under the gross average selling price on eBay (so much better after taking the eBay fees into account).
Probably worth a try considering it's free, you can sell locally and get cash in your hand.====0 -

Recently sold mine on eBay for £180. Probably see about £160 after fees.0
