I've just got off the phone to them on another matter I'm not sure I have the energy to start again.
I do have a habit now though of phoning them with all these minor issues- I hope (but doubt it happens) that calls are logged and ebay can see the amount of 'defects' they have.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. They're obviously not protecting me, as I haven't had any mails. Think it's just another Ebay glitch.
Good job we can't give them defects !You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Has this message to my personal account yesterday. Out of 70 sales in last two months:
Removed 3 transaction defect(s) from your seller dashboard
Upgraded 3 of your detailed seller rating(s) to five stars
Prevented buyers from prematurely asking for a refund or a replacement on 16 transaction(s) during the past 2 months0 -

Some great discussions about this on the community board. Someone was apparently protected in the past 2 months against nasty defects and had feedback removed - yet they left eBay in July...
So it is complete fabrication, but for what purpose, who knows?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I also feel left out. *sob* Nothing in my inbox.
I had to speak to them yesterday because someone put something through to be returned as poor quality and unwearable. I went to email them but found they had already negged me. I contacted ebay and they were pretty good, removed the neg rightaway - plus the low stars that had been left (I was unaware). I was told I had to accept the return request though, but they told me to report her.
I did the accept return but noticed that there was a 'send the buyer your own label' link so I clicked that, I thought the cheeky cow was not having me pay £3 for a 90p return.
I then reported the buyer, explaining that the sale was 4 weeks previous and I had no contact from the seller prior to the returns case and the negative and next thing, the case was closed.
I contacted ebay again to ask about the defect and they said 'as ebay found in my favour I would not get a defect'. So, it looks like ebay looked at the case and closed it so she cannot return it.
And the email I got because I had to get the neg removed......

She said I would get a guidelines email - I said I did not need guidelines but that eBay needed to get rid of sellers such as this. 90 minutes of my day was wasted on that!!!0 -

Lip service to make sellers think Ebay actually cares about them.
The last couple of times I have spoken to CS Dublin, they do seem to be bending a bit. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever
