Flight cancelled then replacement delayed

Hi all,
A very quick question - I had to fly with work (they paid for the ticket). On the way home my flight was cancelled due to fog at Heathrow so I was put on the next available flight (5 hours later).
The second plane was delayed by about 1hr 15 mins. I received a refreshment voucher from BA for the delayed flight.
Would I be able to claim compensation from BA for the cancelled flight and the delayed flight. Should I send 2 letters or just the one?
I will of course use MSE's template.
So many questions as I have never had to do this.
Thanks in advance

If you were to go ahead and try and claim it's only one claim. It's to do with the time you arrive at your destination rather than how many delayed departures you had.0

Like Caz said, no claim. Fog is out of airline's controlIf you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
