Hi All.
My nan is currently after broadband for the house. Problem is she does not want to change her landline number shes had for years. Is that an issue or can you just broadband on existing line?
She was looking at the Post Office to supply, unlimited but cheap as poss, but i have no idea on if they are any good etc?
Any response appreciated.
Thank you.

Am I missing something? All she needs is a provider who can send her a modem and BT to switch on the connection. She doesn't need to change her number or her phone provider even if she doesn't go with BT's internet. She can use this site to check what's available in her area

She could keep the BT line and buy broadband elsewhere, but this is expensive. Otherwise , she could take line and broadband from another company, still keeping her number.
Post Office services are actually provided by Talk Talk, about which you will find many comments on this forum.0 -
have gone through post office, who apparently use BT and not Talk Talk? Anyway thanks for replies0

Post office no longer use BT Wholesale

Post office use a Talk Talk wholesale product so customer service wise it's not really directly connected to the Talk Talk division that has it's own retail customers.0 -

They used to be BT but are now Talk Talk. My sister is with them and lost some important emails during the changeover. Despite promises that they would be retrieved, nothing has yet been resolved.0 -
tesco broad band have been faultless for me, 100% recommended.
