o2 would transfer their credit balance to that.
Would O2 refund the balance if they then cancelled it ?
Take out 30 day simo, but don't cancel until they have refunded the money back to your bank account, after they have transfered the credit from your pay as you go sim.
If they refuse then just use the credit to fund your sim contract until it runs out which is still better value than on the payg sim.
You can not really lose which ever way it goes0
