elona when I had chemo I found that a bottle of lucozade and some kit-kats helped get rid of the nasty metallic taste afterwards,Only thing I learned to avoid was anything spicy or peppery which was horrible for me as I love spicy food and everything I eat usually gets covered in pepper.But the anti-sick meds help no endplus lots of rest.I could fall asleep on a washing line back then:):):) I hope all goes well for your OH though,worth it in the end as I am still alive and kicking 7 years on

Lovely roast beef dinner at Dds tonight and tomorrow we are taking the boys up to London to see the poppies at the Tower of London then on to the Museum of London for a visit

P.S. eldest DD 'facetimed' me and is having a great time in Chicago just going off to Macy's to have some retail therapy, DGD Holly also 'facetimed' me saying New York was great and her and her BF were enjoying themselves
