I have been made redundant using the Bradford formula and have been told that l cannot be told who scored me, l was told it was 2 close colleagues and they are not at liberty to tell me there names is this correct?

As far as I am aware the Bradford score takes into account periods of absence.
It takes the number of absences, squares them and then multiplies them by the total number of days off. I think originally it was meant to be used as a tool for managing lots of one/two day absences.
For example if you had three periods of absence for two days each (six days in total) your Bradford score would be 3x3 = 9 x 6 = 45.
If you had one period of absence for 6 days your Bradford score would be 1x1 = 1 x 6 = 6.
Hope the above makes sense.0 -
They should tell you their scores but not identify the individual people. Do you have a disability or particular reason for your absences?0

My absence from work was due to a accident at work which resulted me having one absence of 4 weeks certificate sickness. I asked who scored me but they say they are not at liberty to tell me?0

No one scores you as such, its just a formula used to identify repeat absences, to see if there's behavior patterns etc..
The basis is that there is a score which is tolerated based on the previously mentioned formula. It's all really based on your employers own tone range
were you off 4 weeks in succession without any gaps? And all 4 weeks were certificated?0 -
Also, sickness wouldn't come into redundancy. Redundancy is where the function you work in is obsolete in the operation0

Yes l was off for 4 weeks in succession without any gaps and all 4 were certificated.0

Are you claiming against employer for accident at work.
Dismissal on capability ground, which is what it is if they are dismissing you due to sickness, is not redundancy.
Do you work private or public sector? Are you in a union.
If you have an injury at work you may be entitled to https://www.gov.uk/industrial-injuries-disablement-benefit/overviews which is paid if you are working.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

- Are you private or public sector
- Was the accident due to fault by employer
- Did the accident leave you with a disability
- Are you in a union
