Do you have any photos of the white quartz? I am seriously considering it as an alternative to Corian. Although I still might go red quartz!!0 -

Before we moved in and filled it with stuff. Haven't got anything closer up than that, but it's totally gorgeous. I love the sparkles and I prefer it to the black sparkly quartz that we've already lived with, it doesn't need buffing as vigorously!
For something liable to last forever, I'd put in something that you could work with other colour schemes over the longer term, or that won 't offend buyers in the shorter term. I'd go for red glass splashbacks or coloured doors that are cheaper to change if you want red. As much impact, but cheaper and offering more flexibility.
I have looked at white Corian, it was what I wanted initially, but I decided against. The pure white shows every grubby scratch, plus it was more expensive anyway.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It looks fab - I'm going for black gloss units and red splashback and I think the white quartz will set it off.
Where did you get it from?
Now just to decide whether to go american fridge/freezer or not! Then I have to decide on every other room in the house - finally looks like insurance company will agree which builders to fix all the damage!0 -
You quoted me saying where it came from! It's from https://www.diapol.co.uk
You need to stock up on microfibre cloths if everything is going to be drak and glossy. Is is a big kitchen? Black gloss marks visibly with fingerprints. If it's a big kitchen you will go mad. I buffed my larder units for a viewing on Thursday evening. Friday morning the cupboard doors had finger marks all over them. The rest of the family don't shut the doors with the handles.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Many thanks to Doozergirl for posting the picture. I have to agree, it looks great. It has that 'deliberately chosen' feel rather than a 'going with the herd' look.
We are struggling to narrow down our kitchen choice here. The kitchen is long enough (7m) but only 3.2m wide. I like the idea of a solid colour for tall units as in DG's pic, but I worry that putting in a tall bank 3m long would pull the room in a little at the far end. Our room is not wide enough to accomodate an island easily. [oops edited to correct!]
Is it a case of the more you look, the more options you see which match?

Larder units are fab. They hold so much more than combining wall and base units so they can eliminate the need for wall units altogether which, contrary to what you're thinking, gives the impression of more space and clean lines.
My kitchen is 7m x 3.7m. There is not a chance that anything will make it feel small, but you see where the door is, you barely register the larder units when you walk in, it looks like a big white room until you turn.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

LOL - oops sorry didn't read the post properly, was so excited at seeing something that would work!!
Yes quite large 2 walls measure 2.9M (but will have f/f) and 3.4M (will have 1M range in middle)

Hi
Sorry to go off topic but what have you got on the wall to the right of the cooker wall? Only if this is a bank of tall units I would put the fridge in this wall, also Do you really want a range cooker? In a modern kitchen you would be much better off and it would look much better having built in. Put the ovens in the bank of tall units to the right, then I would only put those half height wall units on the left wall and nothing on the back wall except a nice modern cooker hood centrally over the hob.
I hope I haven't offended you with my ideas!
