Yes anywhere to escape the harsh realities of the Premeireship!
Seriously, Becs, you'll love Mexico. I prefer the west coast, but it is a long flight.
Would you like a slice of lime in your Sol / Corona?0 -
Don't mention the Premiership

We're going to the East Coast. The hotel is about 10 mins north of Playa del Carmen. The boys are already excited about Chichen Itza and Xcaret, and are keen on learning Mayan history before we go.
OH loves chillis and is looking forward to the food, and I'm looking forward to lying on the beach sipping the free cocktails (it's AI)
Here I go again on my own....0 -
Chichen Itza, Chichen Itza, Surely you meen the temples/pyramids that you find at Chicken Pizza !!
Please believe me that you will soon be calling it the latter and not the former.
Have a fantastic holiday in Mexico on the Mayan trail - Mrs Cat and I did
MTC
p.s.please take some friendly advice from someone you collapsed with heatstroke at the top of Coba pyramid in Mexico, drink a lot, and then keep drinking, and when you think you can't drink anymore - drink more.

And at chichen itza do not wear open toe shoes, despite the heat. Red ants everywhere!
It's a fab place...it was the fact that the pyramids were a clock that got me...all those years ago they could build ingenius things like that...and even get a shimmery snake on midsummers day!
BTW, they built pyramids on top of each other and you can climb up one of the internal pyramids. However, they squeeze you all in, and me...who had never had claustrophobia before, has suffered from it for the 6 years since I was packed into that temple.
Make sure you tell the hotel its your honeymoon...get treated a little bit better than the fantastic way they already treat you.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Yes ditch the stilettos for once Becs. They might be ok for Sinatras, but not for Mexico. Some very big fish if you go snorkelling and swimming with dolphins too, but not cheap.

Hey, I've always been regular, but now, all of a sudden, I'm "ever so regular"!0

Was keen on snorkelling with fishies, till my youngest said he's going to pretend he's Dory from Finding Nemo and say "just keep swimming" over and over again
