Just keep searching and looking. Have you tried leafleting a few streets you'd like to live on maybe? I've read on here that can some times work!
I was going to do that had my leaflets ready but just didn't get round to posting them....but the people in the **forever** house were in no hurry to sell only waiting for a reasonable offer and they weren't in a chain either so they could accept from anyone.
i am am still going to do the leaflets in other areas that were also looking in but there is nothing with the space or if there is then there is no garden for the kids....
thanks everyone for replying and giving me hope..by the way i didn't settle with my hubby i took the first one that came along..not perfect some flaws but he'll do xx0 -
We put our house on the market because two perfect homes had come up for sale. Both sold a couple of days before we had a near asking price offer.
Grrrrrrr.
We kept our fingers crossed that one would fall through, but they didn't.
I met the person who bought one of them, and they were chain free, so we wouldn't have stood a chance. They also discovered it needed a LOT more work than was apparent, so perhaps not so perfect after all!
We are now living rent free with the in-laws, making £150/month from the sale equity, and are now chain free and in a better position when something else comes up.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
