Hello all. Seeing that Egg have failed to pass on the latest rate rise, my wife is about to do the following. Can someone just confirm its ok (in terms of ISA rules)?
She opened a Abbey Direct ISA March this year and transferred her A&L ISA amount into it
She then opened a Egg ISA mid April this year and put in the £3k.
Seeing that Abbey Direct should go to 6.25% from the 1August she therefore intends to transfer the Egg balance into her existing Abbey ISA
Any help must appreciated

There's nothing wrong with doing that in terms of the ISA rules, and I'd probably do the same thing if both my ISAs hadn't slipped down the tables.0

Yes, you can transfer it in. I have moved 2 old ones over to Abbey so far.0
