Mobile contract with drawn

Hi. just a quick question. my niece to a mobile contact out for the iPhone 5s costing £45.
is is just under 19 years old. and is is working.
its her first contract.
she had the phone for a few weeks when Tmobile shop rang her up telling her that she needs to return the phone as she is not allowed the contract .
they informed her that she is only allowed a credit limit up to £40.

So can they do this after she has signed a contract and had the phone for a few weeks?

is there anything she can do about this?

Yes, it's quite clear that the Christmas section is not where you should post contract problems.
  • I've moved the thread to the Mobiles section, so hopefully you'll get a better response here :)

A contract has to be signed by both parties. Is it?

So, T-mobile are within their rights to stop providing her with the service. It's understandable that they want the phone back, but it's not clear whether they can enforce their demand. However, they can easily block the phone and make in unusable on any network.

IMO, it's worth stipulating the return of the phone by some compensation for the inconvenience caused by their greed and incompetence.
