Me too!
I also have one of those metal swirl plates in the intake that make the air spin round, and add a teaspoonful of acetone to each tank of petrol.
Each week I am able to drain nearly 5 gallons of fuel out of my tank as I save so much fuel that I am actually producing more than I use, and my tank keeps overflowing:rotfl:I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

i'm stating the fact that the 2007 1.8 I-vtec cannot achieve 46 mpg motorway/town driving. If it were the 2.2 I-dtec then that's more plausible. OP must be reading the trip computer which says 46 mpg but in reality it's probably giving around 40 mpgCaptaincodpiece wrote: »Are you calling someone a liar?

Unfortunately, you're really not in a position to authoritatively state 'facts'. Nothing you post can be believed, since you have consistently demonstrated a lack of knowledge, understanding, integrity or truthfulness.
Also, you'll find Honda's official figures quote 52.2MPG extra urban. Even taking into account their level of optimism, it's entirely possible the OP does achieve close to, if not actually, 46MPG if their driving style is careful and their journeys weighted toward non-urban.0 -

My heavy 2.0 litre turbo 4x4 280bhp calibra did.
Drive home from work (14 miles) computer showed 50mpg, even knocking 10% off for any possible error it's 45mpg.
Only the once though, couldn't drive like that often.0 -
Would you please link to and clarify where you got this fact from?darkmatter101 wrote: »i'm stating the fact that the 2007 1.8 I-vtec cannot achieve 46 mpg motorway/town driving.0 -
It is indeed the trip computer showing 46MPG. Nowadays with the roadworks on M4 with average speed check of 50 mph. My trip computer is showing 53MPG. So out of my 80 mile round trip, Its nearly about 20 miles in a average speed check area.0
