Can I cancel?

We cancelled Sky back in February. They phoned up last night and as I have been missing the football I agreed to rejoin (a 12 month minimum contract because HD was involved).
I thought Multiscreen was part of the deal but it seems like it isn't. My question is, as they phoned am I covered by distance selling regulations and have a cooling off period (7 days?)?
If not, I shall just have to learn to listen more clearly and then either pay extra for multiscreen or to put the package down to the minimum for 12 months and then cancel again in a years time.

Yes you can cancel. In fact I think Sky's T&Cs give you 30 days to cancel. Be sure to confirm cancellation in writing and keep a copy. Don't rely on a phone call alone, no matter what they tell you.0

This is a re-activation of existing equipment, so I'm not sure Sky's thirty day rule will apply. Regardless, the OP can definitely cancel the re-subscription if the call was only two days ago as the distance selling regulations definitely do apply and he has seven days.Moneymaker wrote: »In fact I think Sky's T&Cs give you 30 days to cancel.0 -
Thanks to you both. The outcome was that when i called last night I was offered a better deal than the one I agreed to on Tuesday. It was the one outcome I wasn't expecting.0
