Thanks but if its so easy to fix why is it so hard and ongoing a problem? So many threads, same problem and lots of CONFUSION, therefore PayPal are making it difficult for the average person to navigate their site effectively, ie they are cheating people.

I know you didn't say its easy to fix, just my response to the fact there's so many threads, same topic, no solution.

I agree. I've never fallen foul of DCC when spending overseas. But I did get caught by Paypal. Was spending just $1.50. Messed around for ages and just gave up for the sake of a few pence despite previously managing it. On a later transaction I did find the option again.

No doubt at some point some regulator will decide people were "missold" and a whole "almost new" industry will be reborn.

Glad I'm not the only one!;)

I today removed the old card and added a new one.
When I wanted make a purchase on eBay but I was suddenly offered the Dynamic currency conversion and I could not find the option to change it.
    I had to cancel everything.
Then I went through all the options in the PayPal account and I could not find how to opt-out from this permanently.
When I had the old card then they offered when making purchases to choose and applied the same option automatically to all new transactions until when I removed the old card and now added a new one.

You can set default conversion options against each card.

It's certainly much harder to do than it used to be, but there are still ways.
