BW Legal unpaid mobile bill
I received an HM Court & Tribunal Service Court Order of £1500.00 to pay for a mobile phone bill that was not paid back in June 2007 that BW Legal feels I took. BW Legal has taken over the debt from mobile company as I believe and now are threatening me with Court Order. They are saying I last made payment of £5.00 in December 2008. I have not been with the said mobile network for a long time. I believe its not my bill . What should I do can anyone please help?

If you really received the court order, you need some serious help. Start with contacting the CAB ASAP.
How long have you been living you at your current address? Have you received any information/notification before the court hearing?0 -
I have lived at my present address for 6 years. I have filed a response refusing all the claim. Then I requested the courts to ensure the claimant sends me all contractual paper work, bills, modes of payments I made for last bills0

Did you make the payment in December 2008? They are claiming you did because after 6 years (providing no contact has been made either way) a debt like this cannot be enforced. If you didnt make the payment they will need to prove that you did.
I am betting that the paperwork received is not from the courts. If it was then it wouldn't be a demand for payment it would be a notification of a case against you and a date it would be heard. It looks like this company is chancing their arm. If it does go to court they will need to provide all original paperwork and proof of that £5 payment otherwise the court will tell them to bog off.0 -

Such ruling requires or authorizes the carrying out of certain steps by one or more parties to a case. A court order must be signed by a judge; some jurisdiction may require it to be notarized.

An order can be as simple as setting a date for trial...0 -
There can't be an order without a hearing. There can't be a hearing without notice from a court. All sounds completely bogus to me. Call the court (if there is one) - get the number from a directory and not from the paperwork. Check that the documents are real and report it to the police if they're not. They are always advertising nowadays that they want people to let them know about scams - though I'm sure that's to make them look good rather than to fight crime and protect the innocent.0

they can if it was money claim online, bet its a claim packDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
