If you book that for £1000 i'll send you a £20 Love2shop voucher
That site has to be the most dishonest site on the web
The flights alone with luggage are over £900 nett
Ive sold travel for 17 years via Teletext etc and im sorry but that deal is not real
When they add extras on (as they will) come back here with real price

  • I've sent you a PM with an actual quote for the hotel and dates. There's no way we could do it for £1000 but as the others have said Ice Lolly is just showing the basic price and won't include the meals, baggage etc and it's unlikely that you will find it at that price with Imperial Travel either, but worth a phone call maybe to get the real price anyway.

Would love to go to Dubai in October but it's still very pricey, can anyone beat my quote? We are happy to compromise on the hotel, but would like creek or beach. We have stayed at Oasis beach tower before & loved it but it's way out of our price range now.

Who the quote is from: traveldubai.co.uk
    Is there a booking fee:NO
    The Tour Operator/Airline/Hotel: Emirates
    The departure Airport/Post: Birmingham
    The Holiday Dates: 04/10/13 - 12/10/13
The number of people travelling (inc kids ages): 2 Adults
The Hotel (or * if it’s allocate on arrival): Hilton Dubai Creek
    The Board (self catering/half board etc): B & B
Any specific requirements: All taxes & private transfer to & from Hotel are also included in price.
Is an in-flight meal included: yes

  • I posted a few days ago asking if my quote for £1,000 for 7 nights in Cancun could be beaten and I was told no. Well I've just got 10 days for £1'426 all inclusive in March. That's 713 each! Yes, that includes everything on top such as baggage and transfers, but it doesn't include in-flight meals. I wanted Cancun on the cheap and I am happy with what I have got. :)

So you spent £426 more and we are in the wrong?
We possibly could have beaten the £1426 but I'm pleased you got a good deal - all we were saying was the original £1000 you put up was impossible - even though that was 7nts its the flight thats the expensive element - This thread is a chance for agents to beat quotes and that is what we consistently do and will continue to do

I'm just informing people with an update. £500 per person for 7 nights was unacheivable according to some people in this thread, yet I just got 10 nights for £213 extra. I rang around and got told I could get 7 nights if I paid a little bit more but I decided to pay extra for more nights and a bit more luxury. Somebody gave me a quote for more than what I paid for the 10 nights and that was just for 7 nights. I appreciate that there are people that are here to help but don't forget that this site is here to help people save money. :money:
