Thats the per person price - sorry should have been clearer, I wish it was the price for both LOL

I'm happy to consider cheaper hotels provided they aren't too far away from the main areas/attractions as I don't think the flight prices have much wiggle room, and as I said we'd happily drop Washington altogether and have longer in NYC and Boston if that makes a difference to costs. The closer we can get the price to £1,000 per person the happier I'd be.
