Hi, i'm looking for a short break to New York, the cheapest i can find is £592 per person flying with KLM via TC, if anyone could find any cheaper that would be great!

3 adults 3 kids ages 16, 13 and 9 travelling to New York on 13th Oct til 17th Oct from Glasgow (could do Edinburgh)

been quoted £8568.92 by expedia staying in The Helmsley Park Lane, continental breakfast included.

I know its the fact that i have chosen direct flights only which has made this so expensive as if i go for indirect it was much cheaper but really don't want to add hours onto our journey if we can help it.
