Hi, I'm off to Australia for a friend's wedding and since I'm taking unpaid leave to see the country, it would be great if I could get a really cheap flight. I had hoped for something in the £500 range, but I'm being told this is highly unlikely.

Current quote:

Departing: October 13th
Return: 12th November
Price: 690.81 (when flight centre beat my original quote of £691.81 from holiday genie) Quoted Airline: Royal Brunei


I'm reasonably flexible about my dates - I just need to be there for the 16th of October.

Ok Teletext holidays quoted the price at £394pp which is lovely, however media travel are putting an extra £241 & 2% Fee on this price for checkin baggage and transfers.

I don't need transfers because the hotel is 10 mins from the airport and I can go anytime upto 6th Sep.

If anyone can help then I thank you
