Beat My Quote! Travel Agents Thread

Hey guys, I am sorry to hijack this thread but can't see where I start with a new question. Basically, I fail to see how Teletext holidays are getting away with this. The firm is Lo Cost, and the holiday is 2nd June for 14 days, flying from Birmingham to Alicante and staying at the Palm Beach Hotel, Benidorm. The site price is £400, but when you ring, it's in the region of £100 more. When I queried, they said it was based on the price of the flight. As I say, sorry for the hijack so if anyone replies, can they point me in the right direction to start a thread. Also, are holiday companies, and the prices quoted, variable as per the currency exchange rate?

Teletext are renowned for advertising deals that need all the extras added onto the price they show or for deals that are not actually available at all.
If your looking for a holiday why dont you post a quote on here and see if anyone can beat it for you.If you go to post 1 of this thread it will show you what you need to do.

This quote will be the best you will get from Birmingham the travel agents viewdata systems show a cost of 6294.00

There isnt alot of tour operators do Cape Verde I would book if your keen on going for these dates

£633 for all of us from sunmaster website but just read review they arnt with ABTA. Plus that flight is easyjet so may be hidden costs with the baggage.
