This quote is for a wedding party guests to Jamaica this December. There are between 12 and 16 people hoping to attend and the lowest quote we can get from local agents is £1385 per person. This isn't much difference from the lowest online rates I can find.

Thomsonfly 18 Dec - 25 Dec MAN - MBJ £ 1297.96 for 2 people

Sandals Whitehouse £1,297.50 per room for 7 nights.

Any help would be seriously appreciated as we're hoping to book this week.

Personally, I would be happy to consider somewhere close by to Sandals for myself but the couple have set their hearts on this resort.

• Travelling from UK to Wellington,NZ. Would prefer airport further north as we are in Scotland. Want 2 night stopover on way back but not bothered if its not Singapore. Tried to find a Tokyo stopover but too expensive as we do not want to pay much more than this quote. Hi all, I'm off to NY with my big sis in October for my BIG 30:beer: !! Have found the exact hotel and flights I would like (leave early for NY and leave late for UK!!)

To be honest, we're looking for a decent Thomson hotel with a kids club. We've stayed at the Victoria Playa before and know it's good so have focussed on that, but any good one would be ok. Like hotel close enough to airport (a 2 and 3 yr old) and not late night flights:
