Don't think anyone can, but if you can beat this quote give me a shout. It has to be First Choice flights, as I do not want to fly long haul with Monarch.

The Quote £1310pp (Based on 2 Adults)
    Destination Riveria Maya, Mexico
    Agent Monster Travel
    Booking Fee No

    Airline First Choice
    Hotel Gran Bahia Principe
    Departure Airport Manchester
    Destination Airport Cancun
    Departure Date/Time 29/07 10.15
    Return Date/Time 12/08 not sure
    The Board All Inclusive
    In-Flight Meal? yes
    Transfers? yes
Additional Duty? (Tax, Baggage) Exit Tax when leaving

First choice website have same flights with the Sandos Caracos or the Barcelo Maya for under £1300 each. I've just managed to get £100 knocked off the price of another first choice holiday on the website by going into the shop and saying I'd had a lower quote.

Be careful when getting quotes for this as max child age at this hotel is 12 - so would need to be checking for 4 adults and not 2a 2c!

Checked for two adults and two children with the ages given which the booking site takes account of (it pops up and tells you the max child age) and as they are all in one room there was a free child place.

I've just checked again and this has now gone.

Can this quote be beaten or can anybody provide something very similar in Cyprus or Crete for young children and close to a sandy beach/restaurants/shops.

The following is a quote I received for SC in Ayia Napa in Cyprus:
    • The Quote itself: £1891.37
    • Who the quote is from: Olympic Holidays & Thomas Cook (£120 more)
    • Is there a booking fee: No
    • The Tour Operator/Airline/Hotel: Olympic Holidays
    • The departure Airport/Post: Gatwick
    • The Holiday Dates: 9th Aug 08 - 23rd Aug 08
    • The number of people travelling (inc kids ages): 2 adults + 2 child (2yrs & 9yrs)
    • The Hotel (or * if it’s allocate on arrival): Makronissos Village Club
    • The Board (self catering/half board etc): 3* SC Apartment
    • Any specific requirements: Childrens facilities, i.e. pool + some entertainment. Close to sandy beach + shops & restaurants would be ideal. Not too late return flight, ideally evening.
    • Is an in-flight meal included: No
    Thanks

I want to book flights for 3 adults and a 2 year old.
    Flying from Glasgow to Toronto
Flying on 25th July and returning on 15th August 2009

The only price I can find online is with Canadian Affair - £1946 inc taxes etc

You pay extra for pre-booked seats and additional luggage allowance.

I wonder if it is best to book now - in case fuel surcharges increase before next summer. The brochure states that when you book - the price will not increase even if fuel charges do go up. Is this good thinking???

I have flown with Canadain Affair before (thomas cook) and was very happy with them.

Are there any other airlines out there to compare prices? I don't think Air Canada fly from Scotland any more?

    Thanks

*Mhairi* If you look at the airport websites it should tell you which airlines fly on which routes.

You could check the likes of Kayak and Opodo but iirc most scheduled carriers release their seats 330 days prior to the date of travel so for the dates you are looking at they won't be available yet.
