    LOL no worries

The reason none of them (inc me) could beat it was it was a Thomsons holiday and the online agency you booked with were doing it for about £20 profit - if anyone tried to package it up it was dearer and no other operators do the route so there weren't many ways we could cross sell

In future i'd say ring 5 agencies max - any more is just a waste of effort as we all have access to the same pool of holidays - and of course post on here as the agents that repkly on here specialise in discounting

If I were cheapest every time i'd be a millionaire - but i'd say we beat about half of the posts on here - Hope we can do better next time for you

    Hi Team,

It's the 1st time I am posting on this particular thread - so please go on easy on me and accept my apology if I have not posted in the correct format, or whether I have not provided sufficient details.

I am looking for a better deal (flights only) than what I have been quoted from ticketstoindia.co.uk (by phone, as their website is not great) for the following:

    Birmingham Airport to Amritsar, India
    3 adult passengers
Depart: 9th (early evening) or 10th (anytime - preferably early evening) March 2017
    Arrival: 29th, 30th or 31st March 2017

ticketstoindia.co.uk have so far quoted me £468p/p by A/India, with 3 hours stop at Delhi on arrival to India, and 5 hours on the return flight.

I appreciate this may very needy - but I am ideally looking for:

    - Cheapest air far possible (my ideal budget is £415p/p - was originally less than £400)
    - Non-stop flight from Birmingham to Amritsar OR
    - If there is a stop over, minimal stop over in between the connecting flights (i've seen some with 7 hours, and some with 31 hours! that is far too long  )

Once again - I am sorry if I have posted anything incorrectly, if I have done so, please can you let me know and I will amend accordingly as soon as I can.

Sorry for sounding so needy and having a wish list of preferences.

Your help is greatly appreciated :)

  • Hi

We have a quote for 1 adult and 1 child (age 3) flying from GCM to MAN on 18th or 23rd Dec and returning on 6th Jan from Thomas Cook at a total of £935.96

I don't suppose anyone can get anywhere near this flying on 20th or 21st December returning on same date 6th Jan?

    Thanks

  • Thanks Mattr5

i realise that but I just wondered if anyone could get close on the dates given?
My daughter can't fly on 16th or 18th and would ideally like to be in UK before Christmas Eve.
Every search I've done comes up more than double that price but I'm no expert and I thought perhaps those in the know may be more successful.

    Sx
