Auto aid recovery bad experience

If you mean me I don't use Auto-aid. I just know that AA and RAC charge silly prices totally disproportionate to the number and value of claims.0

Personally, I just chuck £100 a year into a pot. Right now, I reckon I could be recovered from the moon and still have some to spare. Maybe I've just been lucky.0

Same here, and I carry around a few breakdown service numbers.
The one time I was a member due to having a new car, was on hold to the RAC for over an hour and the battery on my phone finally died so sorted it myself anyway.
Been driving nearly 14 years now, and only once used a recovery service!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
The autoaid faithful jump to defend them making out every other breakdown service is evil.
Typical MSE
I guess as a member of Autoaid for almost 10 years you include me in that comment.
I have never tried to make out that "every other breakdown service is evil," nor have I ever seen any post on this forum expressing that sentiment.
However on the very few occasions I have needed to use them I have had no problems with Autoaid.
I believe they offer better value for money than other companies.0
