Overseas buyer issue

Just looking for peoples thoughts really.
I sold 6 items to a buyer in France. All relatively low value. At the end of the auction I sent a combined invoice. The items are lightweight and so several can be sent for the price of one, so there was a big postage discount even adding the cost of sending tracked on to it.
He didn't pay, so I sent another combined invoice on day 3, and then a couple of days later opened up a NPB.
Whilst the NPB was open, he has paid by e-cheque - individually for each item. He's sent a few e-cheques each day, so they are presumably going to clear (if they do!) over a few days.
Assuming the e-cheques clear, I don't know whether to send the items individually, wait for them all to clear and send it in one parcel tracked, and/or send a refund of the extra postage, which then will give me a defect.
What would you do?
I can't send them individually tracked as the extra will cost more than the items sold for. But, I don't want the grief of 6 potential losses from one person.
If I send in one parcel, and then refund any excess, the excess will be minus the fees which are considerable due to all the extra postage he's paid, and then I'll get a defect for the refund.
If I send in one parcel and don't refund the difference, I might get a defect for P&P/poor feedback, but at least it will be fully tracked.
He's only been a member for a month, and in that time has purchased over 600 items!

Send them all together. Keep the extra postage. If they poor feedback then contact Ebay and explain you had to open a dispute to get payment and they should remove the feedback.
You can only do so much for people. You have sent a combined invoice and they have failed to pay that and instead paid for each item individually only after opening a case.
Personally I would block them as well. As I said if they leave low stars then ask for them to be removed based on the fact they refused your combined invoice. I have found that if you try and be a good seller then Ebay normally are a bit kinder to you. They may not leave you feedback or they may leave poor feedback regardless of what you refund or not.0 -

My hunch would be that the echeques won't clear anyway. Sounds like he's chancing it in the hope that some sellers send them out on uncleared echeque..0 -
Thanks guys, you've gone with what I was thinking. I'll do that. I hadn't thought about appealing though if I get poor feedback so thank you.
I don't think they will clear either.
He has loads of feedback from sellers saying instant payment so apparently is paying for stuff, but I have a suspicion that all this stuff is going to wind up with chargebacks or something hence wanting to be certain with fully tracked postage."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Chargebacks only need a proof of posting. So keep that for 180 days.0
