hi amazon have closed my account saying i have returned too many items and they have found linked accounts etc
however my concern is that the account is either my name or my wifes name and the cards that are used are mine, however they are really two seperate accounts
but nevertheless amazon have said i have returned too many items etc but they have failed to acknowledge the many items i have kept..
my concern is the items i have recently purchased if they develop a fault. i cannot access my account and contact amazon about them, i am sort of !!!!!!ed. isn't this against my consumer right? i wouldn't even be able to print out my invoice to provide to the manufacturer... as amazon do not send hardcopies anymore...
please advise?

They have that right... they do not even have to give a reason... just as you have the right to not buy from a particular shop.
Speak to Amazon about supplying paper copies of any outstanding invoices.0 -
Amazon have decided that they no longer want to sell anything to you.

.....is the right answer.
Just out off interest how many items have you returned and why?0 -

This sums it up nicely. They're a business and need to make money, your clearly running up a fairly big loss for them. Amazon have a reputation for a great returns policy and therefore and hot on people who they consider as abusing this. Your not the first person I've heard had their Amazon account deleted for this reason.
All I'll add it that your consumer rights are not affected, should any of your purchases develop a fault you have the same rights that you would should you still have an account. You'll just need to email/phone them instead.0 -
surely amazon warehouse deal - 30 days return
ive kept lots of expensive items incoluding a monitor / mobile phone £1000 over past month and the others are smaller items under 20£ whuch were not fit for purpose... so i dont see the big deal...0 -

Is not about the cost of the item it is about the cost of sending it back and forwards.
In all probability the cheaper the item you return the more of a loss Amazon take.0 -

Its your your choice to make though. If they don't want to sell to you then that is their choice. There really is nothing you can do about it.0 -

several items, but ive also purchased several of higher value
amazon are refusing to resinstate account and also said they cannot issue any refunds for orders
however i am unable to now print invoices and they are ignoring that fact and are unwilling to send them to me, if i need them if any product i have kept does develop a fault... this is ridiculous0 -
It's what happens when you abuse the system (devils advocate).
People take advantage of the returns system and buy things off the cuff knowing they can just send them back willy nilly, well these are the consequences, you are a admin nightmare and they do not have to deal with you anymore.
I know of other retailers that have that developed the same system. They simply don't want serial returners and who can blame them.0 -

Its not ridiculous, sounds fair to me.
Im sure if you were to ask amazon they would send you copies of invoices etc.0
