tesco online

I'm not a great lover of tesco online, but I used them when the children were on holiday , as shopping is really boring.

I ordered several of some items, and on 2 items I ordered a quantity of 2, but only received 1.

The driver was in a huge hurry, and I was trying to check my receipt against eh goods, but he was hassling me to sign as he had so many other deliveries to make.

I should've made him wait, but I felt under pressure, so i signed.

Beware.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

If you call them, they'll credit you with the missing items.

    It happens a lot!

I never try and check my goods whilst he's delivering, the poor devil would be there all day! I have the kids organised, one unloads the bags, one checks off on the list and I put it all away.

If there is anything unticked on the list (not delivered) then I get straight on the phone and they credit me for the missing items, there has never been a problem and I've always had my card refunded within the next couple of days.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

The word 'UNCHECKED' in capitals next to your signature should always be used for deliveries you are unable to fully examine.
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

This happened to me just about everytime I used the Tesco online service.... and yes they do credit you back, but beware just how much! I've often been short-changed! They often credit you back for the wrong items. I was totally disgusted with their service and was only using them out of desperation when I was heavily pregnant with two young children.

we had trouble once where the driver turned up a half hour before the alloted slot, he phoned my house and said that he was in the area and could he deliver, my housemate was in but as it was not his shopping he was unable to check the details were correct.

One call sorted most things though... the even delivered a bottle of (very nice) sparkling white wine, which i said was not a suitable substitute for the champagne ordered (to toast a new house) and they knocked the £9 off the bill and let me keep the wine.... bad story ends really well

I gave up shopping on line with Tescos about 12 months ago as each shop had something missing or i have half of someone elses shopping in stead of mine  . I was given all sorts of excuses the one they nearly always used was 'they have new shoppers' well i'm sorry but maybe a little less chatter and more concentration may of worked better  . In fact one of the cust service guys put through a major complaint to them as he was sick of people in my area phoning up to complain, almost every day  . In the end i phonned them changed my vouchers to air miles and told them i wouldn't be shopping on line with them again :T . At the time i was shopping on line with them i was very disabled and unable to get out of the house and had to keep relying on friends/family to go and do my shopping for me, which had already supposedly been done.:( At least if i forget something its my own fault, but then again i'm not paying a delivery charge. They did actually send me a £10 e voucher to come back to shopping on line with them but i passed it onto a friend, had i know about this site back then i would of posted it on here. I'm not as disabled as i was and now go to Tescos and do my own shopping, can't use the vouchers posted on here though but i'd rather have to do one shop and not two:(. sorry to go on and on . To give them their due they did always refund what was missing without question, customer services were excellent, it was just my local store  I never really complain about things but this just totally infuriated me

I actually used to do the online picking when I worked in Tesco, and in most cases there is very little time if any to talk as no only do we have to find the right items for the customers we also got stopped by customers in the store to help them.

And when it comes to choosing replacements for items not available its a double edged sword, if we choose bigger/more expensive items then we get complaints about it, but if we choose smaller/less expensive ones we get complained at. So the best solution is to mark items that you specifically want as no replacements and that comes up on the pickers computer and if the item isn't available they will leave it.

I never complained once about a replaced item, it was always the missing ones. It wasn't just a couple of items it was a couple of bags at least, unless the bags had been put into the wrong trays  who knows, i have peace now and so do customer services :D I hope i didn't offend you none was intended it was just my opinion :o

I have used online shopping for the past 3 weeks and each time i have stated that i do not want any substitutions and on each occasion they have substituted my products. This would'nt normally be such a big deal for most people but when you have to stick to a strict diet it is very annoying.I have emailed tesco but as yet have not had a reply.

I will never shop online with Tescos.

First time it arrived with no list to check off and no receipt, phoned them and they said they would post it to me!!!never arrived!

Second time all my chilled food was missing, phoned them and they said they would contact the driver and get him to return, after 5 hours we phoned again and they said the driver had returned but without the chilled food, must have given it to someone else. They told us they would refund the total cost of all the missing food (£42). When the credit card statement came there was no refund other ther £5 for delivery, rang them again and complained, eventually got a refund for the full amount (£42) but it took more than 6 weeks!! Its a pointless exercise to shop on line when you end up going out to buy the missing items!!!
Anyway I have just received a veeerrrrry generous offer from Tescos to get me to shop with them again----£5 off my next shop as long as i spend more then £50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yer wow!!!!!!!
