samsung N130

Options
Hi.
since my last post some weeks ago , i was asking the question of why after wiping my pc clean & removeing all the microsoft xp drivers etc , why was i unable to put sky go on to my TV screen.
Well i had to go to my sons in Ireland & i took the i pad with me , i had no trouble getting the sky go to work on the tv for the time i was there, on my return i was expecting no problems!, but nothing as changed , i still cannot get it on to my tv, infact before i link the cables to the tv, to right click on the blank screen , the options are not there ie monitor/laptop.
The only difference between ireland & my home is that in ireland the router was BT , & here i use talktalk, can anyone talk me through it please as i am not a wizard , far from it.
thankyou

    laptop... ipad... xp drivers???

Not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do.

Are you using the laptop at home or the ipad?
From the thread title, can we guess that you are using the laptop at home?

If so, that sounds like a big difference too.
Even the SkyGo software will be different on a laptop vs. ipad.

    Please clarify.

Yes but before i did any wire connecting to the monitor!, not a tv, when i right clicked on the blank screen , it gave me the option to click on the monitor or pc while in Ireland, when i got back home this option never came up .

    hi.
    Its a n130 notepad.
The sky go works perfectly on my samsung notepad n130 in Ireland on or off a monitor,
Before i went to ireland i had the trouble of not being able to watch it on the tv with the correct leads, so i set it up on to a monitor in Ireland & it worked fine, with the leads disconnected & a right click on the blank screen i could get the right options, but iam not getting the right options now at home, the more i read my own writing , the more baffled i feel , sorry.

It works on the notepad but not on the TV right?

The screen resolution is not compatible with your TV. Change the resolution.

    hi freddie!.
i was useing it on the same tv with no problems untill i did a stupid thing & wiped the notepad clean & started new set up , but i wiped out all the xp drivers etc, i am now in a position that my notepad is working fine now on sky go & i have retrieved most of the microsoft downloads to run the notepad as before.
like you say it works on the notepad & not the tv,but it did in IRELAND on the bt router, im on talktalk!

The two TV's are different, one may be newer with a spec more suitable for a pc than the other, try the screen resolution down to a basic one.

If you do a right mouse click on your wallpaper, then a menu will come up, select screen resolution, it should show you two different screens and the settings.

    Install the correct drivers then
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
