Lyca auto renewal fails AGAIN!?
I signed up with Lycamobile here in the US last month. I established three separate accounts on three separate days using the same credit card and ticked the box for auto renewal of a monthly $29 bundle on each account.
So far, two of the accounts have failed to auto renew.
I spoke to customer service on many occasions over the last week regarding the first failed auto renewal and was given reference numbers for their investigation. I am beginning to think there must be some misunderstanding in my interpretation of the auto renewal process.
In addition to ticking to accept auto renewal, do I need to "recharge"? I thought that "recharge" was only for additional services like international calls.
I was under the impression that in selecting the auto renew option, Lyca would automatically charge the credit card I used to sign up with initially for the bundle. My credit card company never received any such request on the date of auto renewal.
In both cases, this would have been the first auto renewal and should have reflected a 10% discount on the $29 plan ($26.90) but the text I received about the failure to auto renew said that "Your $24.94 monthly plan auto renewal has been declined..."
What am I doing wrong?

My credit card company never received any such request on the dates of auto renewal. Does Lyca expect me to manually recharge every month in order to auto renew?
